Shannon Williams joined Armstrong McGuire in 2008 and brings more than two decades of development experience to the team. She has worked with independent schools and human service organizations focusing on both annual and capital development. Throughout her career, Shannon has been a leader of successful capital campaigns ranging from $8 million to more than $17 million and in annual campaigns ranging from $200,000 to more than $3.5 million. Effectively motivating and managing volunteers, donors and staff has been a trademark of her career. As a leader of the Armstrong McGuire team, Shannon frequently leads capital campaign readiness efforts, art-of-the-ask training, strategic planning and annual board retreats. She also is a talented case writer, strategic fundraising counselor and development coach. She is the wife of a Raleigh businessman, the mother of two sons and an active community volunteer.
