About our guest

Carole Carter has nearly three decades of experience in nonprofit fundraising and leadership with extensive experience in capital and annual campaigns and a strong track record of engaging and motivating volunteers in fundraising. 

She also has extensive experience in fundraising, finance, business management and leadership, grants and board development. 

Carole led a group of four YMCAs as vice president of the YMCA of Middle Tennessee and was the founder of Enlighten Philanthropy.

She is the recipient of the 2010 Restore Small Groups Hope Award and creator of Philanthropy University, a training and development program for YMCA leaders.
