Client: Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity
Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity’s first-ever capital campaign, Crossing the Threshold, was designed to help expand the agency’s capacity to provide more low-income families with a much-needed hand up.
The $8.3 million campaign goal would allow Habitat to underwrite the purchase and development of land to support the construction of 180 homes, create a land- acquisition fund, and increase the scope of educational classes through Habitat’s HomeWORKS.
Lighthouse Counsel conducted a campaign planning and feasibility study to provide the strategic insight necessary for a successful and timely campaign. It also lead the planning and implementation of the campaign, as well as creating campaign collateral such as a case study and fact sheet, and supporting the steering committee by creating agendas, talking points, correspondence, etc.
In the end, Lighthouse helped to lead the campaign to exceed its original goal of $8.3 million.
